The Learning Center, at the heart of Mount Soma, is a great place to gather with friends and neighbors. With gorgeous long-range views, The Learning Center courtyard, patio, and Mountain View Room are wonderful social gathering places.

The Learning Center was built and is maintained by CRS* (The Center of Rational Spirituality), a non-profit organization, established to provide free and low-cost resources such as meditation instruction, retreats, and lectures. CRS sponsors the daily meditation, meditation retreats, and lectures mentioned below. The Learning Center is the main gathering place for the Mount Soma community.

In addition to yoga, the Yoga Hall will have workshops and talks on assorted topics ranging from astronomy to massage, personal development, and healing. It will also be the home for Surya classes taught by Michael Mamas.

Meditation is becoming extremely popular. The benefits have been documented scientifically. People have reported that meditations in a group are much more powerful than alone. In the Yoga Hall, there will be optional group meditations twice daily and twice a year, week-long retreats.

Built according to Vastu principles, The Learning Center can be rented for various celebrations, workshops, and retreats.
